DU Exams 2021: Delhi University Final Semester Exam Postponed, Check Details


DU Exams 2021:  The Delhi University (DU) on Monday deferred the final semester examinations for two weeks. The decision has been taken due to the covid-19 pandemic and a notice regarding this has been uploaded on the varsity’s official website.

According to the official notification, the DU final semester examinations will begin from June 1, 2021, instead of the earlier set date of May 15, 2021. 

Taking to the official Twitter handle, DU officials posted the notice and wrote, “Exams deferred… Fresh date sheet of exams to be issued… read notification here below.”

The fresh schedule for the DU final semester examination will be released in due course on the varsity’s official website. Students are advised to visit the official website of the varsity regularly for the latest updates on the DU final semester examination. 

“The final semester/annual examinations May/June 2021 to be commenced from 15th May 2021 are hereby postponed by two weeks and the same shall start from 01st June 2021. Accordingly, all the Date Sheets released for
commencement of examinations from 15th May 2021 are hereby stands withdrawn,” reads the official notice. 

“The notifications available on the official website of the University of Delhi i.e., www.du.ac.in shall only be considered authentic for all purposes. All concerned are hereby advised to visit the official website of the University of Delhi i.e. www.du.ac.in regularly for
updates related to examinations,” further reads the notice. 

Earlier, the varsity had said that it will consider the current situation and will take its decision regarding the DU May-June 2021 examination (final year/semester) in compliance with UGC guidelines and advisory issued by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Home Affairs.
