Good News! Ranveer Singh’s ’83’ Trailer To Release Soon

New Delhi: Ranveer Singh starrer ‘83’ has been making waves ever since the project was announced. The sports drama is based on India’s victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for the flick ever since the makers confirmed that it will release in the theatres.  

While the producers of Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Jersey’ and Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan have unveiled the trailers of their respective films, the makers of ‘83’ are yet to share an update about its trailer.

Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to provide an update about ‘83’. He revealed that the film’s trailer is expected to release in the first week of December. He said that the producers will finalise the date after Ranveer’s availability is confirmed. 

“Exclusive. ’83’ TRAILER ON EITHER 1ST/2ND DEC… Team #83TheFilm will unveil #83Trailer either on 1 or 2 Dec 2021… The date will be finalized once #RanveerSingh’s availability is confirmed… Looking at 3-week promotion window… #Christmas 2021 release,” Adarsh wrote on the micro-blogging site. 

‘83’ Release Date 

The highly anticipated flick will hit the silver screens on December 24, a day before Christmas 2021. The film will finally arrive in the cinema halls after getting delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis. 

’83’ Cast

Deepika Padukone, who is one of the co-producers of the film, will be seen as Ranveer Singh’s on-screen wife in ’83’. While Singh is playing the role of former Indian Cricket team captain Kapil Dev, Padukone will essay the character of his wife.

The movie will also star Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi, Ammy Virk, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya and Sahil Khattar in key roles.

Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ created ripples at the box office upon its release during Diwali week. Trade pundits are also expecting ’83’ to set the cash registers jingling.
