New Delhi: Walking in the sunlight during summer often causes sunburn. Excessive sunburn can cause skin problems such as irritation, red marks. Ultraviolet rays coming from the sun impact the skin which causes sunburn.
Try to avoid going out on a hot and sunny day, however, if you have to go out and get sunburn then you can try some home remedies so that can surely give you relief.
1. Cure Sunburn with yoghurt: Yoghurt has many natural properties that are very beneficial for the skin. It also cures Sunburn caused by sunlight. To use it, take 4 to 5 teaspoons of curd and add 1 teaspoon of sugar to it. Then apply it to the affected area and leave it to dry. Wash it off with cold water later. It will be perfectly fine after two to three uses.
2. Cure Sunburn with baking soda: Usually, baking soda is found in the kitchen of every house. It is effective to cure many skin problems. To use it, you add one to two teaspoons of baking soda to the bathwater. Bathing with this water will completely cure sunburn.
3. Papaya and Honey Mask: Papaya makes the skin cool. To use it, Take papaya and mash it, then add honey and apply it on the affected area. Leave it to dry and wash it off with cold water later. Within a few days, you will be completely relieved of Sunburn.
4. Cure Sunburn with cucumber: Cucumber also helps in cooling the skin. It contains a large amount of vitamin E. Take a cucumber to use it and slice it. Now place this on affected areas and leave for 10 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water.
