JPSC 2021: Now, One Examination For Appointment Of Junior Engineer, Motor Vehicle Inspector

Jharkhand JE Recruitment: Jharkhand will now have just one examination for Junior Engineer, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI), Mine Inspector and other posts. Earlier, the candidate was selected on the basis of two examinations (PT and Mains). After the Cabinet decision, the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms has issued a notification for appointments through a single exam. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has made this provision in the Revised Rules, 2021, of Examination (Diploma, Technical and Other Specific Qualification Levels).

The syllabus has been decided

The main examination will have two question papers. Question Paper 1 will have 120 questions on general engineering and Question Paper 2 will have 120 questions on engineering. Diploma-level questions will be asked in the two-hour examination. The marks of category-wise minimum qualification for selection in the examination have also been changed. The personnel department has also fixed the syllabus.

These are the exemptions

For the posts of Schedule-I of the Minimum Qualification Rules for applying in the examination, those with diplomas in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Agriculture or related engineering will be eligible from a Central and State government recognised institution or an institution recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education.

High technical qualification holders will also be eligible for the application. In addition to the mandatory qualification, candidates will be required to pass matriculation and inter-examination from a recognised educational institution located in Jharkhand. It has also been made mandatory for candidates to have knowledge of local customs, language and surroundings. These rules will not apply to candidates covered by the reservation policy of Jharkhand.
