Kundanapau Bomma Actor Sudheer Varma Dies By Suicide At 33


New Delhi: Tollywood actor Sudheer Varma, who appeared in ‘Second Hand’ and ‘Kundanapu Bomma’, died on Monday by suicide. While receiving treatment at a private hospital in Visakhapatnam, Varma, who had consumed poison on January 18, passed away. He was 33.

It is assumed that the actor was depressed because he was not given decent roles. One of the leads in ‘Kundanapau Bomma’, Sudhakar Komakula, made the announcement on his social media account after learning of the unfortunate news.

Sharing the news of Varma’s death, he tweeted,”Such a lovely and warm guy’ It was great knowing you and working with you brother! Can’t digest the fact that you are no more! Om Shanti.”

He also posted images from the movie’s pre-release celebration.

Venky Kudumula, a filmmaker, also posted on social media to express his sorrow at Sudheer’s untimely passing. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Sometimes the sweetest smiles hide the deepest pain… We never know what others are going through.. Please be empathetic and spread just love !! Miss you ra Sudheer! You shouldn’t have done this.. May ur soul rest in peace.”

On January 18, late at night, Sudheer took poison in Hyderabad. He was transferred right away to a hospital in Kondapur. He was moved to Visakhapatnam on January 20 at the suggestion of his family. 

He was receiving medical care at a private hospital. On Sunday, his health began to deteriorate, and on Monday morning, he passed away. Later in the day, the actor was cremated.

Sudheer Varma made a debut in 2013 with the film ‘Second Hand’. His popular project ‘Kundanapu Bomma’ was released in 2016. The female lead in this love story was portrayed by Chandini Chowdhary. The music for the movie was composed by MM. Keeravani, who also wrote and directed the movie. Additionally, Sudeer Varma starred in the web series ‘Shoot Out At Alair’.
