Sham Kaushal Shares Unseen Pic Of Vicky Kaushal With Shah Rukh Khan From Sets Of ‘Ashoka’

New Delhi: Action director Sham Kaushal often shares pictures and videos of his family that often make headlines. On Wednesday, Vicky Kaushal’s father did something interesting. He shared a throwback picture of his son Vicky and director Vishnuvardhan from the sets of Ashoka( 2001). In the picture, we see Vicky and Sunny posing happily with Shah Rukh Khan who is dressed as Ashoka in the snap.

Besides the throwback picture of Vicky, Sham Kaushal also penned a note expressing his happiness at Vishnuvardhan and Vicky winning Best director and Best Actor awards at the Filmfare ceremony this year for ‘Shershaah’ and ‘Sardar Udham’ respectively.

“By God’s grace this photo was taken in 2001 during the shooting of Asoka in Film City,” he wrote. “Vishnu Vardhan was assistant director and Vicky was studying in 8th standard. Nobody ever imagined that one day Vicky will join the film line and in 2022, both of them will be winning Best Director and Best Actor Awards respectively for Shershaah and Sardar Udham,” his caption added. He signed off by saying, “Destiny and God’s blessings…Rab di meher.”

Vishnuvardhan’s film ‘Shershaah’ won the Best Film award at the 67th Filmfare Awards this year. Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal bagged the Best Actor trophy for ‘Sardar Udham’, which also won the Best Film (Critics’) Award.

Soon after Sham shared the picture, the comments section flooded with many good wishes for Vicky. A user wrote, ”Awesome. Really appreciate my favorite heroes. Rab rakha. Hard work always pays. Stay blessed,” while another user wrote, “Remembering all the good old days. God bless”.

Proud father Sham Kaushal often shares such old and throwback pictures of his sons. Earlier, on Sunny Kaushal’s birthday, he had shared a birthday post for Sunny with a collage of the actor’s pictures.
